I want to be able to have different shipping prices for different products. If one item is really big, I would like to charge like 12 dollars for it, but another item might only cost 2 dollars to ship. I selected the price per product option in the manual shipping method, and it asks me to put a price per product there. Of course that would not work because the cost needs to be different depending on the item. So I need to enter the shipping price on the product page. I read that there is an option to add shipping price on the product page, but I cannot find it anywhere! I am using the free version of Hikashop. Is this not available in the free version? If it is, can somebody explain where it is to me like you are talking to a four year old? Because I have looked and looked and clicked and clicked! If it's not available in the free version. What version do I need to upgrade to? Does essential have it? If so, can somebody show me where it says that it does? I looked on the essentials description page and it says nothing about having this ability. In fact none of them even mention it. I like Hikashop but your documentation kind of sucks! Sorry I'm just really frustrated.") | [](/forum/35-orders-management/879343-e-mailing-to-multiple-vendors#214574) | [E-mailing to multiple vendors?](/forum/35-orders-management/879343-e-mailing-to-multiple-vendors#214574 "-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 -- Joomla version -- : 2.5.17 -- PHP version -- : 5.4.43 -- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 40.0.3 I like Hikashop. It has it's flaws, but it also has a lot of options that I like and it's easy to use. However, I am having a couple of issues. The first one is probably easy. I need a way to send an e-mail to a specific vendor depending on what product the person buys. I was thinking of having the e-mail just come to me and then create a rule in outlook that will forward it to the proper vendor. I could do it with a code or I could do it with a brand, but neither of these come through in the e-mail. So is there a way to set this up so that the code or brand comes through in the order notification e-mail? My other problem has to do with shipping. I cannot get the USPS shipping plugin to work. I get the "No shipping method found" error and sometimes I get "could not retrieve shipping rates" or something like that. I have read all the troubleshooting guides and like 30 forum posts about this problem. Nothing works and I believe I am going to need specific support on this issue. I know that is very vague. I can be more specific but I was just wondering if I will need to pay to get that kind of support? Also I am thinking about upgrading to Hikashop essentials or pro? I have read the comparisons but sometimes it's easier to grasp if someone explains the benefits in practical terms? The best benefit I can see so far is the ability to offer a guest checkout. Are there other benefits that I am over looking? Thank you for your help.") There are several solutions to that. Of course, the standard solution is to use HikaMarket Multivendor: www.hikashop.com/extensions/hikamarket-multi-vendor.html It allows you to have vendors, link products with vendors, and of course, the vendors will be notified of the sales of their products. What's great with that solution for you is that each vendor will only see the sales of his products, so if someone order stuff from different vendors, each one will be notified and only for his own products and won't know about the products of the other vendors. Otherwise, you can add a custom product field in order to enter the "code" in each product and then display the code in the emails with a simple tag that you can add to the emails template: {LINEVAR:product.field} where field is the column name of your product field. This solution will require the Business edition. 2. It's hard to give you a proper answer without knowing how you configured your shipping method. Could you do a screenshot of its settings ? Also, is your USPS shipper account activated for the use of web services (you might want to contact USPS support about that) ? Did you enter a weight/dimensions in your products ? 3. The version you'll want will depend on what you need to do. So hard for me to answer. Guest checkout is available in both the Essential and the Business editions. On the Business edition product page ( www.hikashop.com/extensions/hika-business.html ) you'll get a list of all the features that the Business edition has and which the Essential edition doesn't have.") 11 years 1 month ago by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") | Replies:1 Views:471 | [Last Post](/forum/35-orders-management/879343-e-mailing-to-multiple-vendors#214602 "Hi, 1.
