I've been using Hikashop on various stores for the better part of a decade now. It's been wonderful... it's straight-forward, easy to use, and reliable. Support has been fast and effective. No complaints. Despite this, as my business expands I'm faced with a dilemma. HIkashop has almost no available 3rd party integrations. (I do use the ShipStation integration and it works well.) There is simply no support for things like print-on-demand services (Printful/Printify, etc.), no support for various social management platforms (Buffer or simlar), CRM (Salesforce, Infusionsoft), marketplaces (Etsy or Ebay), etc. Competitors like Shopify, Woocommerce and others have readily available plugins for all of these services. I know the answer I'll hear is "you could pay someone to make these". And that's great, but paying a developer (even a good one) to build/support/update a plugin is a far cry from having official versions of these things ready to roll. I'd love to stick with Hikashop, but it's beginning to limit my potential and I'm probably going to have no choice but to migrate. I just wanted to let you know about these issues in the hope you can continue to expand support for this otherwise wonderful product. Thank you!") During checkout with PayPal selected, attempting to use the quantity reload button (circular arrows) causes the order to submit unexpectedly. I tested and confirmed the issue.") Edit the file components/com_hikashop/views/layouts/tmpl/quantity.php and change the code: near the end to:: and it will check that the quantity has been changed in the corresponding input field before sending the data to the server so that nothing will happen when you click the refresh icon if you don't change the input. I know I can add a custom field in the order table, but that's not quite appropriate since the data really belongs in the user table. However if the field is added to the user table, is there a way to get it to appear during checkout? Perhaps a customized override of the checkout page, but I'm hesitant to do that. When adding an optional product that has no variants, the product page displays a "No" option in the dropdown to not include that item. I have looked at your demo, and on the Processor optional product, you have a "Please select" dummy variant included. I tried that, but when I add the items to the cart "Please select" is included in the cart as a shippable item. How can I exclude an item like that from being added to the cart?") It looks like the parameter is not stored in the backend. When I do a vardump of the $this->options in the show_block_login.php I get an empty variable. When I disable the if-statement the Guest button shows up and works. FYI there are no overrides used Hope you can look into it.
