To deal with this, I set up 3 Warehouses to account for all these differences (following your good advice), and this system was looking good - whereby different shipping options were available for all types of products (i.e. shipping by Warehouse) in the shopping cart. So good so far! However, the client has now indicated that he wants any restricted items to FORCE the shipping method for all other items in the cart to courier. I give you a working example to clarify: A customer wants to order 10 items. 8 of these items are normal products (i.e. they have no shipping restrictions); 2 of the products contain solvents so MUST be shipped by courier. In this circumstance, the customer wants the system to force ALL of the products to be shipped by courier BECAUSE there are 2 items which must go by carrier. Any ideas how I might go about this. This has occurred with about 20% of all products - so about 80 in total. Having read the forum, I noted that one way to deal with this is to change the canonical URL settings and also to switch off "Remove products and categories id in URLs". While the latter worked, It means that the product and category IDs are shown - which I do not want. So i need another way to resolve this. I have also tried removing all the canonical URL's via mass actions, by choosing the product column "product_canonical", and then updating the values for that column by leaving the update box empty. This has not worked either as all of the canonical URL's are still present when I export a CSV. However, when I try the Mass action again - this time it shows that there are no product-_canonicals when I apply the mass action filter for the action! Have the canonicals been removed or not? Where am I going wrong? Is there another way to solve the Product Not Found problem? An example of the problem is if you click on item 'UV960' at the top of the page attached. I was able to do this before, but somehow when I now click on the order column, there is no response from the system. I don't get to see the check boxes and/or an option to move the item up or down. Many of my products contain solvents and other materials which must be treated differently for shipping purposes (i.e. some products cannot be sent overseas, some must go via courier etc). There are 6 variants for shipping, and I have created a custom field in products which shows which of the 6 'shipping categories' the product falls into. This category shows up in the front end (product page) and in the cart. So good so far. I am confused how I now go about configuring the shipping methods to reflect the 'shipping category' of the products. For example, a Shipping Category 'D' product means that the shipping to EU countries is by Courier only. Naturally, I want it to be clear on the checkout that as this is a category D product, shipping to the EU for this product is by courier only. I have read the shipping tutorials, but cannot find any way to configure this. Please can you advise the way forward?")
