It seems that Hikashop does not send out e-mails. Not during checkout when a customer places an order, and Not when I change the order status, in Orders. (Yes, I set the option to inform the customer to Yes) I tested with 2 different e-mailaddresses Sending testmails through Global configuration does work. I tested setting PHPmail and Sendmail. (For SMTP I need more info from my client.) So... what should I look at now? Is there a setting I missed? How do I get Hikashop to send e-mails to customers? Thank you! Alternatively, you go give them a backend access to your website with access to the email history. Although they don't believe it's releated to that other issue they wanted to let me know. It is a simple shop. The only "big" thing is that all products have 1 custom field of type text. The content of that field is then used for a filter on the front end. On your demoshop I created a custom field of type text and added it to the table Product. Now I go into the product and I can enter text into that new custom field. So far so good. Now I create a filter, apply it on custom fields and select the custom field I just created. But on the front end it only displays the filter, but not the content of the custom field. I can get it to work with other types of custom fields, but not with text. I also tried it with an existing one (Genre in e-books), didn't work either. Does a custom text field require something extra for filtering? Does it work at all with custom text fields? Thank you.
