I have an ebook store. I need to send people links to download, so I need their email address, but don't want them to have to register. When they order, they only have to submit an email address. Great. They go through the order, pay, get the email with the link... And are confronted with a login page ("Please login first"). Which requires a password. That doesn't exist. Help! Current workflow configuration is "Cart + Coupon" >> "Login" (because I need the email address) >> "Payment" Under "Login and Registration" Login is set to "No" Registration is set to "No registration" Display email confirmation field is set to "Yes"") Category: [Checkout](/forum/27-checkout "Everything about the checkout process in Hikashop") Topic started 13 years 3 months ago, by [dkudler](/forum/user/6616-dkudler "View dkudler's Profile") [Last Post](/forum/27-checkout/860821-no-registration-but-please-login-first#117909 "As explained in the configuration documentation, downloadable goods can't be sold without creating a user account: www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5....html#checkout_login So I would recommend to use the "simplified registration" option. I also, however, have that are sold exclusively through Audible.com. What I am trying to do is figure out a way to change the "Add to Cart" button conditionally. If the product is in the category "Audiobook", say, I'd love to have the button read "Purchase at Audible" and link to the Audible page (which is already entered as the Brand URL for each product).
