One of the options is to add personalized text to the item with optional Fonts and Colors characteristics and variants This is what I have done. The Main product is setup with options from another category called "personalized text" I created the category with the item called "Add text" with characteristics Yes/No The variant "yes" will add the additional pricing. I have created an "Item" Custom Field "text" called "personalized text" where they will type in the text they want. I have created an "Item" Custom Field "text" called "font type" only to select the type of font they want. I will be creating an "Item" Custom field "text" called "font color" If the customer chooses to add the personalized text I would like for the Custom Fields to appear after selecting the option, and make them required fields. I'm not sure if I am going about this the right way?
