| [](/forum/4-how-to/80417-gift-certification-with-the-use-of-hikaserial#99097) | [GIFT CERTIFICATION WITH THE USE OF HIKASERIAL](/forum/4-how-to/80417-gift-certification-with-the-use-of-hikaserial#99097 "First of all thank you so much that I found my favorite E-commerce plugin called HIKASHOP. Because of this, I found new clients who needs help about this plugin. I hope I will learn more all the technical backgrounds of this amazing plugin. Anyway, here's my questions. HOW TO INTEGRATE A GIFT CERTIFICATION IN HIKASHOP? HOW TO USE HIKASERIAL IN HIKASHOP? Its my first time to hear this hikaserial so please help. He told me that his hikashop website has still 10 Month of free support. His name is Jürgen Henrici and here's his website: www.fotosafari-deutschland.de To make it clear, here's a story so that you know what I mean for this GIFT CERTIFICATE: Girl buys a present for her Boyfriend. She buys a Gift certificate for 119€,- Gutschein per Mail ( Gift certificate send by Email). She finishes the booking process and gets an automatical genereated E-Mail which has an Serial Number Fx-0456 printed on the Gift Certfifate PDF File. Boy has Birthday and gets the gift certificate and he is really happy. 1 Month later he decides to take a photocourse and looks at www.fotosafari-wiesbaden.de which photocourse he should take. He decide to take the photocourse “Fotografieren für Anfänger” ( the beginner course) for 119,-€. The booking process leads to www.fotosafari-deutschland.de via iframe. In the booking process comes the question: “Bitte geben Sie Ihren Gutscheincode ein ( falls vorhanden)”. He looks at his Gift certificate and there ist he Code FX-0456. So he has to pay nothing. And here's the technical requirements, please help on how to do on each requirements: • The Number of the Gift Certicifate should be in the Format: FX-12345 • Each Certificate has an amount of money connected to it • After using a Gift certificate, this gift certificate is used • When the Price is higher than the Gift certificate, the system should put the extra money on the bill • When the girl selected: “certificate via Post” she gets a different mail. In this mail there is the Certificate number but also a description of the snailmail which will be send to her manually. Looking forward to your reply! I will make sure that my future clients who wants an e-commerce, I will surely recommend this amazing hikashop. Thanks!") It uses some generator to create a serial which could be just some text or could be more. For example, with the "coupon generator", HikaSerial would create a discount coupon in the same time than the serial would be generated. At this moment, the coupon code would be the serial data. www.hikashop.com/en/hikashop/139-hikaser...-coupongen-form.html The coupon generator would duplicated an existing coupon (which would be used as template) and it could change some values. It is possible to have a dynamic price which would be link to the price of the attached product. So with a single pack and a single generator configuration, you can create coupon with different prices (where the price would depend on the product price) The coupon generator have a parameter which allow you to set the serial format. So, you can use "FX-[1-9]{5}" if you want the format "FX-12345". The coupon would have his own validity period and his own discount value. It would be unique and could be use only one time (if the coupon template is right configured). It would work in HikaShop like every other discount coupon, creating a reduction on the final price. After that, HikaSerial have other plugins like the "Attach Serial" one. This plugin allow you to create dynamic images which would be included in your email (or accessible with dynamic downloadable files). www.hikashop.com/en/hikashop/152-hikaser...tachserial-form.html Your last point "certificate via Post" is not implemented in HikaShop/HikaSerial but with a custom field (item custom field) and a custom plugin it is possible to implement such feature.
