Is there a way of offering a discount to customers that review a product?
The solution can be to restrict your discount to a customer group, and when your customer review your product, you'll just have to add him on the "discount user group".
Note that you can also use a coupon instead of a discount, and then send him the coupon code.
On a similar theme, is there a way to offer an automatic discount to anyone that purchases either certain products or over a certain amount etc.? e.g. A customer buys product x, after purchasing and receiving their confirmation email another email is sent offering them 10% off their next purchase?
You can :
- Create a discount and restrict that discount to a user group
- Go to your product configuration page and set the "" option to the "Discount user group"
Then when you customer will buy that product, he will have access to the discount.
