[SOLVED] How can we add a product with grouped option to wishlist in backend

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.15

Hi,

There is a difference in adding a product ,that has an option grouped, to the wishlist through frontend and backend.

Through frontend it's all good, the product is added with the optional product included.
Through the backend when trying to add a product in a customers wishlist we only get the main product and not the option that is grouped with it.

Is there a way to add a product with a grouped optional product to a wishlist through the backend ?
(or any other workaround is welcome).

Hi,

This is not supported for now. There is no way to add options to products in a cart/wishlist from the backend.
The only solution would be to assign the wishlist to yourself in the backend, then go on the frontend and add the product from the product page, and then assign the wishlist back to the user in the backend.

We where trying a simmilar approach as work around.
