Cart fee

This plugin will allow you to create extra fees using any formula build with tags relative to "product", "item", "order" and "user" custom fields or even default fields from the product.

Tags relative to the cart are also available, like {cart.weight} or {cart.shipping_shipping_id}

Conditions can also be entered and they also support tags. That way you can apply extra fees only if the condition provided is true.

On the checkout, the matching formulas will be used to calculate extra fees and the plugin will add them to the cart total.

Each fee can be calculated before taxes: the formula then works on the prices without taxes and the fee gets the tax rates of the products, so that a discount made with a negative fee also lowers the taxes shown in the cart, like a coupon calculated before taxes.

The price tags {product.price}, {product.unit_price} and {order.price} accept the modifiers :tax and :notax to read the price with or without taxes, for example {product.price:notax}, as in the Coupon Conditions plugin.

• Each fee now has a "Calculated before taxes" setting. When it is on, the formula works on the prices without taxes and the fee carries its share of the taxes, so a discount lowers the tax line of the cart. Before, a fee was always calculated on the prices with taxes and the taxes were left unchanged.
• The price tags now accept the modifiers :tax and :notax, for example {product.price:notax}, to read the price with or without taxes whatever the "Calculated before taxes" setting. Before, these tags always gave the price with taxes.

• The formula field no longer loses everything written after a "<" or ">" sign when you save a fee. Quantity based tiers written with these signs in the formula, for example {product.cart_product_quantity}<20, are now kept as you typed them instead of being cut off on save.
• The help text about the condition was corrected. Leaving the condition empty means the row has no condition and its formula is always used, not that the formula is ignored.

• Lines returns in the values used to replace the tags configured in the plugin would prevent the plugin from properly processing the formulas.

• The plugin now supports user tags to be able to tap directly into custom user fields or data of the user. For example, you can use {user.user_points} to access the amount of points of the user, or {user.user_email} in order to access his email address, in either the formula or the condition of a fee.

• You can now use the function "decimal" in your formulas and conditions to make sure that the value provided by the tag in its parameter is a float. For example, you can use the formula: decimal({order.donation})
• The plugin now checks that the custom field corresponding to the tag is a multiple dropdown or a checkbox type field before summing the selected values. This will avoid messing with other values with a comma when it is not needed and could create a non desired effect.

• The cart fee plugin now supports {cart.xxx} or {cart.xxx.yyy} tags. This can allow you to use data from the cart like {cart.weight} or {cart.shipping.shipping_id}
• The cart fee plugin now has an extra option "condition". This allows you to restrict the use of a formula only if the condition is validated. For example you could use "{cart.shipping.shipping_id}==2" as a condition and the formula would only be calculated as an extra fee if the selected shipping method for the current cart would be the one with the id 2.
• The cart fee plugin now accepts values without tags as formulas. This allows you to provide extra fees without calculations.

• When having multiple product / item tags for a formula the calculation would display warning messages on PHP 8.
• When the "fee included" setting would be turned on, a warning would be displayed by HikaShop for the fee calculated by the plugin.
