#  Task Report

Integrating with the new [Joomla Task Scheduler](https://magazine.joomla.org/all-issues/march-2022/get-to-know-the-new-joomla-task-scheduler), the HikaShop team has developed this new plugin, allowing you to precisely plan tasks to export reports configured in HikaShop and potentially send them as an email attachment.
For example, you could create a report of the monthly sales per product and then automatically send it by email to the person responsible for restocking.

Installation

- **Easy and quick !**
- 1) Download the plugin on our website
2) Install it on your Joomla website (extension manager)
3) Enable the plugin
4) Configure a new task in the Joomla Task Scheduler

Usage

- The Task Report plugin is compatible with all the editions of HikaShop
- HikaShop 5.1 or newer required
- Joomla 4.1 or newer required
- Compatible with PHP 7 minimum
- GPL v3
- No limit of time
- No limit of use

1.0.2 on 11th of September 2026

- Fixed the installation of the plugin failing: its manifest named a folder the package does not contain, which makes Joomla abort the installation.
- The security guard of the plugin class is now where the Joomla Extensions Directory checker looks for it, at the top of the file after its namespace and use statements.

- The plugin now ships with the standard Joomla security header on all of its files, to follow the Joomla and JED guidelines.
