Permit order based by localization

Hello,

is it possible to permit orders if a customer is not too far away to a restaurant (for example)? If for example the distance from the restaurant and the customer is maximum 5 kilomenters?

Hi,

There is no such system.
That would require the development of a custom plugin to first get the latitude and longitude of the customer address and then calculate the distance between these and the restaurant to allow or not the checkout.

thank you very much for the update. I saw the plugin but it seems that is possible allows the shipping methods limited by the distance between a point and the geolocated shipping address but not sort by distance. Or there is a possibility to enable the sort by distance?

What do you mean by "sort by distance" ?
Do you mean that you have several restaurants selling different products and you want to sort the products listing based on the distance of the vendor from the user address ? That's indeed no what this plugin will do.

Unfortunately I saw. For this feature I contacted the develop department and they told me that is possible to implement but I have to pay 600€. I know that is a complicated feature and is not very requested, but at the moment I prefer not implement this feature. But if in the future we will see that is really important I recontact them again.
