i have about 2000 products and i need to increase all the prices by about 5% on each product , Rather than click into each product and do them one by one is there a faster way to do this?

Export all your products into a CSV file. Hikashop--> Products Menu-->Products --> Export

Increase prices in Excel.

Import file back into HS. Hikashop--> Products Menu--> Import

Depends which version of Excel you have.

I find it best with 2010 version to name your download file <whatever>.txt and then use the open dialogue.

That starts the wizard and you can select whatever character your columns are delimited by.

There are many many columns but it shouldn't be hard to read.

You are looking for the price column (can't remember exact name). Column headers are in first row.

This is the UNTAXED price.

Excellent thanks . It worked. Rather than just double click to let excel open up file I did the following:

1) I launched excel 2007 then clicked Data TAB
2) Clicked "From Text" Icon (3rd from left)
3) Clicked Delimited
4) Selected semicolon as delimiter
5) Selected General as column data format
6) Clicked OK

Seemed to work okay

It's the option "CSV separator" in the tab "Files/Images" of the configuration
