There is an issue with the UPS shipping plug-in whereby the weight of the parent product is not being inherited by the product variants.
This means that I am facing having to set the weights for every variant in my client's store - not something I'm looking forward to doing.
I have verified this by setting and unsetting the weights in the variants. Unset the UPS shipping method is not presented. Set, it is presented.
I have the Hikashop UPS Shipping Plugin Version 1.0.0 April 2011 installed.
Is this a known issue? Is there a fix? Why doesn't a versioned UPS Shipping Plugin appear in the Downloads section?
