Instead of new image is getting old image

Hi,

I have a problem with placing new images. I did new, beter foto's. I remove old image, insert a new one, but it is still the old image. In backend is a new one, but in frontend still the old.

Hi,

Are you sure that you're editing the good product page ? can you :
- Active the joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Try again and tell me if it display an error message.

At first, I have no "maximum" or "minimum" found there. Just "yes" or "no". The whole website was with stars. I re-downloaded image, but still see in frontend the same old one. I saw no warnings.
Thanks for help, but I am not a prof and I will try and try again until will be goed.

P.S. I did with all images that same, but only a few images are goed shown.

Hi,

How di you update your images ? By uploading them in the backend or via FTP ?
HikaShop generate thumbnails for the images so, if you update manually the image, the thumbnail would not be updated.
You can delete the "thumbnails_..." folder in order to force the generation for all images.

I did that in the backend. I tried and tried and now is good. But what you mean with delete the thumbnails, to set it to "no"? Then on the product listing are no images.

Hi,

Thumbnails are files in your website. So you have to delete the files if you want that HikaShop recreate it.
I said you have to delete the "thumbnails_..." folders. HikaShop create one "thumbnails_...." per size like: thumbnail_100x100.
So if you delete the folder "media\com_hikashop\images\thumbnail_100x100" you will force HikaShop to re-generate all 100x100 thumbnails.

Thank you, now I it understand, I have to delete the folder with size 100x100, but I need this size, just with other images. I delete this folder and than make a new with that same size?

Hi,

If the folder or images does not exists, HikaShop will recreate it/them.

Ex: When you upload a new image, which does not have a thumbnail, HikaShop will create it the first time than a user will display the page.
