Install fails, no error in extension manager

Hi,

I had a working copy of HikaShop running on my Joomla website running v 2.5.11.

After going through the upgrade process, the hikashop menu items would give a 404.

I uninstalled hikashop and have attempted to re-install it ... no luck.

The extension manager takes some time (as if it's uploading and installing) but when the page refreshes, it's as if nothing happened and you just clicked the page fresh.

No error, no nothing.

Any ideas ... wasn't this hard last time :-(

Hi,

Please try to use both HikaShop packages types : Zip and Tar.gz
The zip package is greater than 2MB so it can be refused by the PHP upload limitation (some default value in the PHP configurations).
The tar.gz package is lower than 2MB so it is generally accepted but the unpacking could take more time.

Thanks so much ... as it happened, the zip file installed fine, the tar.gz file failed ... no idea why, but very grateful for your assistance :)
