My client invoices his clients for services on a monthly basis and would like some way for them to pay by credit card (PayPal and/or Authorize.net) Is there some way we can do this in Hikashop?

Hi gnor,

You can use HikaShop and Akeeba subscription, by this way you can create monthly payments.
In the next release a recurring payment solution will be present with a new paypal plugin.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. Each monthly invoice would be presented for a different amount depending on the month's work, and the customer would be given an option to pay it online with either Authorize.net or PayPal. This is the PayPal only setup we have on our own site: screencast.com/t/P2r516fJ I suppose what I would need would be a product where the client could enter his own price.

There is no way to do this on HikaShop actually.

A plugin could be made to achieve that I think.

It's actually possible to do that as explained here:

Thanks for the reply. I ended up creating a separate article and using the Authorize.net Simple Checkout button. You have to use the "Donate" setting in order to allow the client to enter a custom amount, but we created a custom button image and added the code to it so it doesn't say Donate.
