403 Access not allowed on payment image

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5

Hi,
i descovered just yesterday this issue:
in the backend, go to component > Hikashop
then go to system > payment methods
Then go to a payment method
on the "generic configuration" box find "images" and click on the pen-icon ( at right)
Here you can see the issue: a popup with a 403 error.
I've just contacted my server host and he said me that the issue is caused by the fact that the URL that the site is trying to access when clicking the button in question is not valid:

http://www.lacasettabio.it/administrator/%27+%27/administrator/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=plugins&task=selectimages&type=payment&tmpl=component&values=%27+document.getElementById(%27plugin_images%27).value+%27
He said me to contact the developer of the plugin.
Could you help me, please?

Hi,

The popup is working just fine for us with the latest version of HikaShop.
Rename the folder administrator/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop via FTP and see if that helps.

You tell me to rename that folder; so have i to change the name?
If yes, what is the new name i have to give the folder?

Give another name. Whatever that is. That way, it will deactivate all the modifications on the HikaShop views.

Now, i've given back the original name.

Can you try again by logging in the backend in English ?
If it works, then it's a bug of Joomla with the popups system:

After the patch when i click on the emal of the orders i have a white popup.
So, now i came back to the original file.
On this way i have only one issue ;)

Hi,

The patch 7845 is a bugfix patch ; when you apply it in a website, it fixes issues and it does not create new ones.

Please be sure that you have applied the patch correctly.

Now, the modification in the bootstrap modal system in Joomla 3.4.4 (3.4.5) break more than the popup title (and the generated JS).
It also block HikaShop to use dynamic URL ; like it is doing in the plugin edition page.

The first solution would be to use another popup system in the HikaShop backend.
That specific point will be fix in HikaShop 2.6.1 because I added a new standalone popup lib so we would finally be able to forget bootstrap modals and mootools squeezebox.

The second solution would be to update HikaShop in order to use a namebox instead of the "input+popup".
It requires to modify a view but also to update an HikaShop class.
That modification is already include in HikaShop 3 but is currently not include in HikaShop 2.6.1 (but regarding the issue you got, the team could see to import the patch into the next release).

Hi,
i'm sorry, i've applyed the patch a second time and i've checked it very carefully.
But the issue 403 is still present and the popup to send an email order is white.
So i have to delete again the patch 7845.

Hi,

It worked for everyone else so I don't see a reason why it would work for you. But anyway, next version (which will be released before the end of the month) will have that fixed as we'll use our own popup system.

Hi,

So change the popup mode setting of the HikaShop configuration to the new popup system that we talked about last month which is called "vex". That way, it should help.
