Export products - description ends in Product ID

I have tried to export my products and view them in excel, I open up excel, import the csv using ; as the delimiter but the first 1000 lines contain the product description in the product id column, then after all the descriptions are exhausted, the rest of the csv file looks fine and everything is where it should be. Maybe im importing into excel incorrectly?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes I think that the problem come from excel, try to open the csv file with another program.

Thanks - it appeared to work ok in google docs spreadsheet.

Can anyone recommend a good csv file viewer so I can sort columns and edit properly?

Hi,

You can use OpenOffice.
It can open and create CSV files.
