Adding products from back end (taxes)

Hi.

I have a problem when adding products from the back end. All stores ok, including tax, but when I print the order/invoice by the front/back end the tax info doesn't appears, and only the word 'TAX' (spanish 'IVA') is showed.

Can I store the tax info so the order/invoices will be printed with tax info?

Hi,

Taxes are stored in the order details. So, even if you change the tax options in the backend, it would not impact the old orders.
You have to create new orders with new options to see the modifications.

Hi Jerome.

I create a new order from the back end, add products with 21% tax and when I view or print the order only TAX is showed (not TAX 21%, or detailed if there's more than one), and detailed taxes are active. Also There's no tax field on the back end details of that order.

First, please make sure that you have the "detailed tax display" option of the configuration activated. Otherwise, it won't display the detailed taxes.

Also, for orders created from the backend, or for orders created before that option was activated, if you add products to the order, taxes won't be detailed.
But if you add a product to an existing order which was created after that option was activated and that the order was created from the front end, it should definitely work, and that's the common case.

We didn't think about orders created from the backend, when we added the detailed taxes display. That would require some modification to the creation of orders in the backend in order to properly initialize the taxes info in the empty order when that option is activated.
