Categorie filter on custom field not working in bo

When entering orders in the backoffice
When adding existing product

The categorie filter for custom fields does not work. Ie: ALL custom fields for Item are shown in the backoffice form. Worse: they are all added to the orderitem, even if they do not apply. Then they are also shown in the mail/invoice.

Hi,

The filter is present to filter by Name or by Product code but not for the custom fields.

But this is not what I mean.

When definining a custom field, you can define a categorie filter, so the custom field will only display on products in a specific category. This works in the front (webshop) but not in the backoffice order entry form. In the backoffice ALL custom fields are shown on entering an Item, not just the fields defined for the specific product category.

Hi,

Ok I understand, I just tried on my end and the custom field is displayed in the backend when I add a product to my order, but it's not in the frontend as I set a custom field restriction on a category.
