Orders not in English - Falang

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.12

We are using Falang with Hikashop. We have Spanish/English for all our products. However, the people processing orders are only English speaking. When someone places an order in Spanish the products are listed in Spanish under Orders in the backend. Is there a way for this to be displayed in English instead?

Same for the Order Summary / Shipping invoice - we need these in English

Hi,

There is no way to do that easily.
It would basically require reloading the product data and it's translations manually since Falang doesn't work in the backend of the website.
Note that with HikaShop 4.2.2, you can now translate your products name with simple Joomla translation overrides (you enter the translation key instead of the product name in each product and then fill the translation override file of each language with these translation keys.
That way, it will work even in the backend.
