Hi Support,

I hope you can help me.
We have bought HikaSerial and have a question about the possibilities.

We would like to automatically send a coupon with the confirmation email after a customer has bought one or more products.
With the wish that the coupon can only be used once by that customer at the next order and it doesn't matter which product is bought.

At the moment we have done the next configuration and settings:

What else do I need to do to get this working?

Hope you can give me a hint! ;-)

Kind regards,
Lumiga

Hello,

For your coupon "KORTING" (your template), you want to set the "quota" so it can be use only once.
If you just want the customer to be able to use it, in the generator, you can use the setting "Discount Customer Assign" (even if the translation is not up to date, I'll look into that).

For the rest, it looks good.
Do you have issues ?

Hi Jerome,

we have adjusted your two points but how do we get this linked to the e-mail?
At the moment we see no coupons in the confirmation emails.
Maybe because we haven't linked it to a product. But we want to link it to all products. Where can you determine that?
And where can we provide coupon information (a short description that will appear with the couponcode) in the e-mail?

Regards,

Hi Jerome,

Sorry for the late response!

But today we have published the plugin en did this configuration.

So you think now everything is fine?

Do you know where can we provide coupon information (a short description that will appear with the couponcode) in the e-mail?

Kind regards,
Lumiga

Hello,

With that plugin configured and enable, you should have a serial (coupon) created for each order yes.
Regarding the coupon code in the email, it will be displayed in the "serial" part of the email (which can be override) ; but you can also see to configure the "attachserial" or "pdfserial" plugin to get an attachment (image or pdf) for that coupon.

Hi Jerome,

It's working perfect. Thanks!

One last question:
It's working fine with real orders and real payments.
But when we create an order by ourselfs on the front-end and then cancel the payment and conform it in the orderlist at the back-end then we receive the same e-mail as the customer but without the additional information with the serial like the part below.
But hikaserial did create a serial as we can see on the backendpage serials, but it's not attached at the e-mail.
It's not a big issue but for testing it would be nice when it's working the same way as a real order.

Kind regards,
Lumiga

Hello,

I'm not sure to fully understand your message.

But, one HikaShop issue is known with HikaSerial ; you can't confirm an order in the HikaShop backend order listing.
The email which will be sent are generated before the order is confirmed so, before the serial is generated.
The only real way to confirm an order is to go in the order details ; change the order status there and use the mail button to send an email.
