Questions about the image popup selector

-- HikaMarket version -- : 3.0.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.12

Hi,

We want to use the image selector popup to select a image like it's done in the image form block:



We need this to be used in a custom field without using the fields class from Hikamarket.

Is there a way to do it?

If we can do it, I have some questions regarding this:

1. Can we change the ROOT path for the selector?

2. Can we use it to select paths instead of images?

Hello,

You can't use that image selector like that via a custom field, it would require an important development in order to create a new kind of custom field which would use the gallery system to pick up a file.
More than that, the gallery system is made to only select images, so you can't select a path, it's not designed for that (or would require huge modifications in the core)

Best would be to understand what you want to do so we can advice you regarding possibilities.

Hi again,

We need to introduce a server path into a input box of a custom field (it's not necessary to use the fields class).

The html of the custom field is created and administered by us, but the result is inserted into a basic custom field of the type "Text".

We wanted to make a button that opens a new override for the galleryimage layout and use it to insert the desired path into the input box.

Hello,

Usage of a plugin custom field would be required.
Even in the namebox system, I don't see something which will be close enough to your resquest.
Maybe you can see to ask the rest of the HikaShop support team, at the end your question is not limited to HikaMarket.

Since you want to create a new kind of custom field (ypu can look at the advance date picker field plugin), you can post in the HikaShop development section
