Looking at the code of the plugin for virtuemart, it uses standard joomla search plugins.

So you should already be able to use it with HikaShop as HikaShop integrates with the joomla search with the "HikaShop products search" plugin which is installed by default with HikaShop.

Unfortunately, the last plugin version for hikashop is for Universal AJAX Live Search from 10.02.12
So images does not load from Universal Ajax Live Search module, because plugin is out of date.

I think that the best will be to contact directly the offlajn team in order to have an updated version of their plugin if possible.

Hi - is there maybe a solution to this topic? Or any other ajax search module I could use with Hikashop?

ps "JV Ajax Shop Search Module" is almost working - it crashes when you use filters in hikahop and they do not want to fix it.

Hi,

You'll find many ajax search modules for Joomla:
extensions.joomla.org/tags/site-search
For example:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...e-search/ajax-search
extensions.joomla.org/extension/rokajaxsearch

As long as they use the normal search system of Joomla, they will work with the HikaShop products search plugin.
