Product Image Disappearing-Characteristic Select

I mentioned this in the How To section, however, it is now becoming urgent that i have a solution to this.

I have upgraded to yesterday's 1.6 release which promised to fix this issue but it remains in 1.6

When a product Characteristic is selected the main image for the product disappears.

There is no need to open new threads for the same problem. We won't answer faster. It's the opposite. It takes us more time and thus you and the other users have to wait longer for our replies
