2checkout plugin - planned?

Are you planning to integrate 2checkout payment plugin? It's one of the most popular payment processors.

I know there is a 3rd party plugin to buy, but it should be already available in hikashop.

Are you planning to add 2checkout?

Since there is already someone providing it we don't plan on redeveloping one.
We have a list of more than 30 other payment platforms for which there is no solution for HikaShop and which would require a plugin to be develop. It would be unfair to the guy who put effort in developing such plugin for HikaShop and to the other users in need of these other plugins to develop a 2 checkout payment plugin.

Also, note that the 3rd party plugin have a deal with 2checkout so that if you create a new 2checkout account, 2checkout lower its setup fee so that the money you put in the plugin is kind of given back by 2checkout. That sounds already more than enough reasons to not develop the plugin.

I have a 2checkout account and if I want it to work with hikashop I have to buy it and that's it, no discount. Your link for 2checkout plugin doesn't work, I went to their website and it's going for $35 without 17% tax, now imagine paying 120EUR for hikashop business (which is a fair price), and then paying 40 more just for a payment plugin, I personally would never do that.

AS I said, 2checkout is one of the most popular and serious processors and I think it should come with hikashop. I hope you will reconsider your decision.

Thank you for the information on the broken link. They had changed their website and the URL had changed.
It's now updated.

27 euros ($35 converted to € and there is no taxes to pay unless you live in Kyrgyzstan) for a payment plugin doesn't sound so expensive to me.

We'll see but, at least in the short term, I don't see a reason to work on that instead of other features that have been asked for a long time like multi vendor or recurring payments.

If you see this third party plugin isn't available for Joomla 3.x
We need it must with our Joomla 3.2 site.
I think you should develop one or please recommend

Next version of HikaShop should be compatible with another free 2 checkout plugin which is compatible with Joomla 3.

Hi, new 2checkout plugin (techjoomla api plugins) will work on Hikashop Version 2.2.2? or must need to update? Bcz i changed many core file for one site as needed.

If working with v2.2.2 please tell me how can i do this.

It will only work with HikaShop 2.2.3.

Can you tell me where to get this new 2Checkout plugin. I have Hikashop Business 2.3.0 and am running Joomla 2.5.18.

I have tried the MintJoomla one and it has given me trouble from the start and now after the last Hikashop update, the 2CO plugin doesn't work at all. Am greatly needing a good solution for 2Checkout. Please help! Thanks!

The MintJoomla plugin is the one Nicolas is talking about.
So if you have any trouble with this plugin, you should contact the developers.

I am using Joomla 3.0 and hikashop 2.2. the two chckout plugin does not install it gives me the error -

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

This could be because it is made for Joomla 1.5. Can you please provide for Joomla 3.0

We didn't develop that plugin ourselves. Please contact the developer of the plugin and he should be able to provide it to you.
