Free shipping once certain dollar amt is reached

Client is using the usps plugin for shipping however, I'd like to know if it's possible for a person to receive a discount either by price amt, or quantity. She would prefer to have free shipping applied if a person buys more than 1 of her product. Thx in advance

Yes, that's possible.
In your USPS plugin, check the "restriction" checkbox and set 1 in the "maximum quantity" field.
Then, create a manual shipping method that you will call "free shipping" with a "minimum quantity" of 2.

The system will then switch from the USPS to the manual shipping method on the checkout when the number of products in the cart changes from 1 to 2 and vice versa.
