product listing mixing categories after update

Just updated HikaShop from version 2.1.1 to 2.3.0 and our three main product listing pages are now showing products across multiple categories rather that just the selected category. Please help.

Hi,

The listing of the products depends on how you configured your menu items via the menu Display>Content menus.
Edit your menus there and check their settings and you should find the problem.
Otherwise, please provide a screenshot of their settings so that we can see what you have there.

Issue solved.

Apparently, some associated modules that were previously not enabled got enabled by the update to HikaShop 2.3.0. I had tried before, post-update, to turn off those associated modules in the manner you suggest (via Display-->Content menus). However, it seems that changing the settings under 'Associated modules' is hit and miss - they don't always take. Might be worth looking in to.

Your guidance did lead me (back) to the right place though!
