Hikashop / Joomla / Sage Pay Upgrade Checkout

Hi Hikashop Team
I am testing out upgrades to Hikashop before implementing on our live site, in order to upgrade to Sagepay ver 3, before our current version loses support soon.

Everything to do with payments was working fine.
I upgraded Joomla to latest version and Hikashop along with the sagepay plugin.

Now, the checkout process stalls at the final stage, just before passing to the payment provider, no matter what payment option is chosen (available is Bank Transfer or Sage Pay).

Click on the button and the same page is loaded.

I'd appreciate some help with this.

Hi,

It's not related to the SagePay payment plugin.
It comes from the customization that you did to the "step" file of the "checkout" view.
In recent versions of HikaShop, HikaShop expects a hidden parameter called hikashop_validate to be sent by the checkout form to validate the pressing of the finish button (to avoid double orders).
That parameter is missing from your checkout due to the customization of that view file.
So you'll have to retweak that view file for the new version. Maybe you could save your changes, remove the customization of that view file completely, and reapply the changes to the new version of the view file.

That's explained it nicely - updated my step.php file, incorporated the edits (custom button texts) and voila! Thanks again!

Just one more thing. Is the "Send basket data" option available for Sage Pay yet? I can't get this working for the Test account yet and assume it is a work in progress. Would be nice to see it in place as it helps with our admin, but we can survive of course!
