Wish List - Custom Field for Variants

Hello Hika team,

I would love to have the custom field avail for variants (currently avail for products and categories). Any chance that is a possibility in the near future?

We already have product custom fields available for product variants, you'll just have to fill it through your product variant's configuration page.
What kind of custom field are you talking about ?

Sorry I was probably not descriptive enough. I'm referring to the custom fields under display. In my case I have a text field under the item table. It would be really helpful to be able to identify a specific variant within a product to apply this to.

That's not something we can do for the short term. The big issue is that it's not only about the products selector in the backend, but it's about the fact that the fields for refresh automatically based on the selection of the variant on the product page, the checks on the server side should be done on a per variant basis, and that introduces issues with the custom fields being displayed on the products listing where you can't select the variant. So quite a lot of things will have to happen to be able to do that properly.
