We have try all the possible combination of setting but still can not manage to hide the related product module during product listing
It show correctly in product detail page, however we do not wish to display it on listing page

Disable the module in the joomla modules manager and instead enable it in the select popup of the "modules under the product page" setting of the HikaShop configuration and it will display only on the product page.
That's actually how it's configured by default.
Alternatively, you can also use an extension like Advanced Modules Manager in order to restrict the display of a module to only some pages of a menu item and that will allow to do that too.

I had tried your method and attached screen shot
Not sure what is going wrong, if module manager unpublished state remain, related product will never show

In the Joomla settings of this module you can let it published, but remove the position.
That way when selected to be displayed under the product area, it will be present on the product page but not on the other pages.

So as Nicolas said:

In Joomla, you can assign a module to a position and to some Joomla menus (also called itemid).
In HikaShop, we also provide a setting to configure modules which would be display under the product page.
Now ; the modules you configured in Joomla are managed entirely by Joomla and HikaShop have nothing to do with that.
If you open a page using a specific itemid ; the module configured to be display in that menu will be displayed by Joomla (aka : not by HikaShop).
In order to have nice URL ; you're using the same ItemId for the product listing menu and for the product page.
But, by doing that, you're display the product page with the same menu than the product listing.
So ; there is no bug and the problem is not HikaShop.
The problem isn't Joomla either ; it is a current limitation in the Joomla module/menu system and some extensions, like "advanced module manager" allow Joomla to improve that.
I hope that I'm clear enough.

if that is so what's the point having the setting display module under product page in configuration?

You're getting mislead here.
And it all comes down to this:
www.hikashop.com/media/kunena/attachment..._-_Configuration.png
I've told you to enable the "related products" module in the "modules under the product page" setting, but as I can see on your screenshot, you've done it instead in the "modules under the main area" setting.
Because of that you didn't get the expected behavior.
Xavier and Jerome overlooked that mistake from you and told you an alternative solution to use AMM.
And yes, that's an alternative which works if you don't want to use the "modules under the product page" setting (like when you want to display the related products module in another position of your template on the product page than at the bottom of the product page).
But if you just do as I said and configure the correct option, you'll see that the related products module can be set to display only on the product page without AMM and thus you'll see the point of the "modules under the product page" setting.

Finally managed to get it work correctly
Thanks again
But where is the "main area" position referring to? How we suppose to utilize it?

This setting is for you to have an associated products listing module, so that when you display a category listing which doesn't have a menu item (like when you try to access the page index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=category on your website frontend), it will use it in order to display the products.
So that setting is not used in normal cases and there is no need to change it.
