Show options on product listing

Hi,

I know this question was posted before but I could not find a proper solution for this. It seems like a very reasonable feature to have and yet it's not supported in Hikashop.

I would like to have a list of products and allow the user to select the variant from the product line and add it to the cart without forcing him to enter the product page. Right now all I have is the "Choose options" button.

Please advice.

Hello Guy,

That option is not available for the moment in Hikashop so to do it, you'll have to directly customize Hikashop files but it will require some development and hikashop knowledge.

No there is no option, but in order to have this kind of feature you don't have to modify core files view, you have to use override view system.
You can reach it, here :
- Go to Components => HikaShop => Configuration
- In Display dropdown select Views
- You will find 3 dropdown in order to filter views through elements type, your front end template and frontend views.
- Look for Products/listing_div, listing_table or listing_list (depends on which display option you need)

The override view aim is too custom HikaShop views, and won't be affected by HikaShop updates.
