SOLVED! - Remove Shipping and Payment from checkout pages

-- HikaShop version -- : business_v2.6.4

We do not charge for shipping and only use Paypal for payments. We'd like to totally remove the shipping and payments sections from the checkout steps.

When I remove the payment section from the checkout workflow, the user is not taken to Paypal on checkout.

What am I missing... or how can I best do this?

Hello,

You can remove the shipping method if you want to, but you'll have to make sure that your products are virtual products without weight and dimension set in their configuration page.

However, you'll have to keep the payment step so that your customers will at least be able to select the paypal payment method.

Thanks for the info. Since we're only using Paypal for payments... why can't we remove the payment section too? Could we only show it on the last checkout page?

The Payment step will be required but in your case, the solution will probably be to directly :
- Set the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" option to YES via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout"
- Use some CSS code to hide the Payment displaying through your checkout workflow.
