Question field checkout page

I'm aware of the custom fields in Hikashop.

I only need a tekst field for the customers want to leave a comment with the order.

When i use Tekst field there is a comment field in the checkout page but also a Submit button.....

Whats the best stetting for a comment field?

Hi,

You're correct.
The submit button allows you to send the custom field data without submitting the whole step data and going to the next step.
You can hide it with some CSS if you don't want it.

But it works like a chatbox? Because no further info is needed to submit. To with address is the data submitted?

It would be really useful if there is default a comment field thought.

The data is not submitted to any address. And it's not a chatbox.
It just work like a comment field for your orders. So as far as I can see that's what you want.
