Only one characteristics value is shown

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.2
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.19

I want so use characteristics.

So i added a characteristics:
I have to chose a default value so i did:


These are the characteristics values:


But when i look on the frontend to the product, only the default is selected and i can't choose an other value:


How to handle?

Just found it by myself.

The characteristics value must be chosen as wel in the variants....... this make sense.
