Related products from same vendor

-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.tweedehandjes.com

Hi,

is there a way to show "More of this vendor" as a kind of related products on the product details page?

So if a customer looks at a product from vendor A, that he sees all products from vendor A below the page.

Thanks,
Joyce

Hi, sorry for posting on the wrong section.

These setting where known to me, only it does not show a product listing of this vendor, only the vendor name on a page. I would like the customer to see all products of a particular vendor.

Is there a way to create a link to a product listing by vendor?
Like: "See more of this vendor"
So when the customer clicks that line, it gets redirected to all products of this vendor.

Joyce

Hi,

The setting Jerome talks about is what you're looking for.
The display of the name of the vendor on the product page is not linked to that setting.

You need to create a HikaShop content module instance via the Joomla modules manager and first configure it to display all the products of the shop by selecting the main category (it should be the case by default), and setting the "sub element filter" setting to "all sub elements" in that module. Then, when you turn on the "filter same vendor" setting, it will remove all the products that aren't from the same vendor of the current product on the product page.
If that's not the case, then you have a problem in the settings of your module. In that case, please provide screenshots of its settings and a link to a product page linked to a vendor with other products so that we can analyse the situation.

Hi, great, this worked, thanks!
One more thing: I would like not to show all product below the page, but have the button attached. So that customers can choose how many product they want to see.
How do I get this?

Joyce

Hi,

There is no pagination support for modules.
So unless you add custom coding to HikaShop, you won't be able to add that to the module.
