Suddenly having authorize.net payment issues

I see several others with the same issue, but they don't seem to apply to our site. Any help would be appreciated!

Do you have any special characters in the products (name, description, code) of the first entry of each of these orders ?
If you try it yourself, are you able to reproduce ? Does it happen only with some products or all of them ?

A simple solution to fix the issue in the time being is to turn off the "send order details" setting of the authorize.net payment plugin.

No special characters, except the code field was 't automatically generated. I created one, but that didn't help. I did find that the checkout process had somehow been changed. I setup the checkout steps again and was able to fix it!
