Categorie filter module showing the quantity after title

Hi guys,

You see allot of site's where you can filter on categorie and it is already telling you how many products there are in that categorie.

[ ] Lady's (6)
[ ] Shoes (16)
[ ] Men (10)

Is this possible in the Hikashop filter module?
If you ask me it should because it is so much easier for the customer.

And is it possible to remove the empty categories?

Thanks!

Hi,

It's not possible with a categorie filter. That's something we want to add in the future, when we'll rewrite from scratch the filter system of HikaShop.
It's however possible to have a category listing module (so that you can click on the category to see it's products) with the number of products of the category displayed in it. There is actually an option in the HikaShop content modules of HikaShop to display that.

Regarding the empty categories:
- with the filters, you can turn on the "dynamic display" setting to remove them.
- with a categories listing module, you can turn on the "Only with products" setting to remove them.

Nicolas,

Hikashop is so flexible
Thanks for al the tips and tricks!
I think the categorie filter with the product numbers is a great option

Have a great day!
