Setting product page modules

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.8

System - Display - Product Option gives a button to select modules under product page.

There is also a long text link under the button that when clicked, leaves you on the module page with an error - see www.screencast.com/t/czbGTThao

What am I missing?

That's just a link to the options of the module. Sometimes due to the check-in/check-out system of Joomla, the link will give you that error.
But it's not a problem. Just edit the module directly via the Joomla modules manager and you'll get the same page.

After selecting another module within the pop-up and saving the config, the message re:wishlist was gone and the link for the selected module was present.

The wishlist is not in the popup as an option. Should it be?

The option is only meant to display related products modules, or products in the same category modules, etc.
Not really to display a wishlist a cart or some other 3rd module.
