Set shipping to UK Mainland only

Is it possible to set the shipping to UK Mainland only?

Hi,

Sure. Select the UK country in the "zone" setting of your shipping methods via the menu System>Shipping methods for that.
When the user address is outside UK, no shipping methods will be found, and the checkout won't let the customer continue if the "shipping" view is in your checkout workflow.
Alternatively, you can also disable the countries you don't want in the menu System>Zones so that customers can only select the UK in the "country" address field.

I understand your instructions, but I'm trying to limit shipping to UK Mainland only. So this will exclude places like the Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly. How do you do this?

Hi,

That's no problem. Create a shipping zone via the menu System>Zones and enter all the "states" of the UK country, except for the ones you don't want, as sub zones of that shipping zone. Then, just select that shipping zone in your shipping method.
