Native Joomla canonical link injection was created by Denitz

Hikiashop uses not 100% logic code to add canonical URLs:

Code:

$doc->addCustomTag( '<link rel="canonical" href="'.$canonicalUrl.'" />' );

The correct way is to use the addHeadLink() method:

Code:

$doc->addHeadLink($canonicalUrl, 'canonical');
