can you recommend the best setting for joomla cache when using hikashop?

Hi,

You can just use Joomla's default caching. We have some mechanism in HikaShop to clear Joomla's cache when the cart changes.
Also, you can use JCH optimize to improve your pages. Now you'll have to configure it as some options might break HikaShop.
