Account registration

I know that new customers, at the checkout, can register for a new account, and after completing the form, they have to follow a link in a confirmation email etc etc. I have placed a Joomla login box on each page which has a 'Create and account' link, but when clicked, this only asks for basic details. So i think the Joomla 'create an account' is not linked to the HikaShop account. Is there a way of displaying an option so that customers can create an account before the checkout page? I wonder if there is a HikaShop Account module?

The registration view of the checkout in hikashop is just the registration information of joomla plus the address fields so that customers can enter both on the same page. So if a user creates an account via joomla and then checkout on hikashop he will still have to enter his address information.

There is no view yet on hikashop to display a registration page with the address information included.
