order status translation

In the e-mails to the customers the orderstatus do not show in the right translation. I'm using dutch and the translation file contains the correct words, but the e-mails does not contain the Dutch words but the English ones.

Which version of HikaShop are you using ? That's a bug we had in versions of HikaShop two or three months ago. If you use an old version of HikaShop, could you try to update ?
I just tried on our demo website to purchase in French and got the order creation email in French with the order status in French as well...

Probably it's a problem with the Dutch translation file. I think it isn't up-to-date then.

Are you using joomla 1.6 ?
If there is a problem in the translation file, joomla 1.6 won't be able to load any string after that error in the file, so that might be the problem...

I updates the language file myself and still the words of orders status is not shown in the correct language.

The word Cancelled has to Geannuleerd (the dutch word)

Did that user used the dutch version of your website to place his order ? What is his language setting in his joomla account ?
You didn't say which version of hikashop you're using. Are you using the latest one ?

I just tried to change the order status of an order in different languages and it worked on our demo website.

This is my Hikashop version: You have the latest stable version : 1.4.7
Joomla 1.5.22

I just deleted the english translation from Joomla. I'm only using this website in Dutch.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know.

Could you give us an access to your back end + FTP so that we can have a look at the problem and see if there is a bug ?

Hikashop does not get the translation from the e-mail out of the language file, but as shown in the images attachted the title of the orderstatus is right, but when you edit it is in English.

I think it's a bug?

That's not a bug. On the listing of order statuses, we display the automatically translated status. But when you edit it, we display the real name which is stored in the database which is in english. The translated version comes from the translation files.

I do encounter exactly the same problem with my german version of Hikashop. I was not able to find the error so far, as the translation files seem fine and show the correct translated words. I am using Hika Version 1.4.8.

The test clients receive the german email but the order status is in english.

Could you give us a back end access to your website so that we can confirm the problem ? If we can confirm it, we will also need an FTP access in order to put traces in the code as we could not reproduce such problem on our end.
