Yes you have to modify some css, you can edit the FrontEnd CSS File in HikaShop configuration. And modify this class:

.hikashop_product_quantity_field_change_minus{}

For example, you could add the CSS:

.hikashop_product_quantity_field_change_minus{
width: 7px;
display: block;
}
