Hikashop Child Characteristics? was created by hungrybird
Does Hikashop have Child Characteristics? eg. I have a product that has the characteristics x,y,z, where x,y,z have their own sub -characteristics?

Hello,

I think that you'll just have to :

- Add another caracteristc
- Manage the variants of your product
- Unpublish the variants that are not part of your "sub -characteristics"

ok. Can Hikashop bring out an image attribute for each characteristic? I have many products that I'll be adding the same characteristic too- but i don't want to have to add the image for that characteristic each time a varient is created. It would be much easier to have a set image for it when you create the characteristic?

If your products will have the same characteristics, you can maybe use the COPY button at your "Hikashop->Product" page, then edit this new product.

ok I'm using the free version at this stage so I don't have the copy button. But in that version your using are you saying you can copy varients of characteristics over to different products and then maybe just edit the price, so I wouldn't have to re-add images for every single varient when their the same?

Yes,
you'll be able to copy you product with his variants and then just edit your new product, I forgot to tell you that this feature was just available in the business version.

Ok so you can copy a product and its varients - but can you copy just varients from one product into another?
