Same Discount Coupon Code - different discounts

Hi there,
Is it possible to use the SAME discount coupon code (eg: SPECIAL OFFER!) (that would be sent to all customers) - but this discounts different amounts of different products (that we specify)?

I have tried to do this but it appears that different discount CODE is required whereas I want to use the same.

Any advice appreciated

You can't have two discounts or coupon with the same name.
You need to create many coupons with different name.

I don't mind the Coupons having the same name (obviously that's preferable as when using a discount code on an advert or email it would need to be the same generic name) - but I need it to affect different products by different amounts. ie: looks better to customers if costs are rounded down so that (eg: 15% off) doesn't give odd amounts.

Is there another way that i can make this work?

For the moment HikaShop allow the customers to use only one coupon.

You can create a category on which you apply the coupon, and put your products inside, but your products will have the same reduction.
It's not possible to have many coupons reductions at this time.

But you can create many discounts, with the discounted categories system. One category with 15% off, another with 25% off, and put too in these categories.

Cheers Xavier - that might be the way i need to go - bit of a long way around but that may be a useful workaround at this stage (once i've got my head around it!)

When you edit a coupon/discount in HikaShop with the Essential or Business edition, you will have the option on the right of the screen:

Hi again - I've attempted to create auto loading coupons suing badges associated to category (& related product assigned to that category).
It would appear that not all discounts will function through checkout. Eg: If 3 (discountable) products are added to basket only one of the coupons gets used.
Also - now all my badges have disappeared from the products

You can only have one coupon added to an order.
So that's normal. I don't have any solution for that. It would require that we add support to multi coupon in HikaShop.

For the badges disappearing, I would need to know more about how you set them up to be able to help you.

i'm working around that problem.

The badge/s are back after I changed the discounts to workaround the other issue - but you could add the multi coupon option to the wish list
