Discount price showing incorrectly

We have a product in our shop that is £96. We have applied a discount of £16 and would like it to display as a cross through £96 and the display price they pay highlighted £80.

As it is we are seeing this ...

-£ 16.00 £ 80.00

(which is confusing for our demographic - they might think they only have to pay £64!)

How do we change this?

If you could help that would be really great.

Hi,

In the Display tab of the configuration you can change the option "show discounted price" in order to display it like you want.
That option will affect the product page. For the products listings, there is a similar option in the hikashop options of the menus/modules. The hikashop options of your product listings can be accessed via the menus Display->Content menus/modules. If you use HikaShop 1.6.0 or newer, all new menus and modules have that option set to "inherit" so that it automatically uses the option of the configuration page. Otherwise, you have to set it for each one of your products listings.

thanks for the info - I still can't seem to find a way around the problem of the text running into each other when the discount is displayed - as shown on the image. Which causes a bit of a problem in the basket in particular


Any suggestions?

I don't see any products with both prices displayed on that page.

yes i switched them off - but now i can't get any of them to come back now

darn it!

You can fix that with some CSS:

.hikashop_product_price_before_discount, .hikashop_product_discount{
display: block;
text-align: center !important;
}
