donate $1 in shopping cart

Hi we are wanting an option in our cart for people to ad $1 to their purchase and donate it to our charity.

I have read other posts in forum but they did not seem to be able to get plugins offered etc. to work.

Could you please let me know how I can have an option to add a $1 donation?

We are on the business hika cart.

Hi,

There is no optino for that.
But you can do it quite easily with a view modification.

First, you will have to create a product for your $1 donation.
Then, copy/paste the code of the "add to cart html button" of your product in the file "cart" of the view "checkout" via the menu Display>Views and that will add a link on the cart on your checkout in order to add that $1 product to the cart.
